7 Things God Promises Us

7 Things God Promises Us

1. We will never be separated from His love.

Romans 8:38-39 ‘For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’

No matter how far away from God you have felt, his love has been with you the whole time and he still loves you now.

P.S. I have started a series on my YouTube channel called ‘Testimonies of Titans’ that YOU can take part in HERE

2. If you wait for His timing, He will make all your plans succeed.

Isaiah 40:31 ‘Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.’

If you wait for God has planned for you, you will soar up on wings like eagles. But rushing into something that isn’t from God can lead to the opposite.

3. Be satisfied with Him and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:4 ‘Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.’

Take delight in knowing that the God who made you is also the creator of the universe! If you love him above all else, then why wouldn’t he also give you everything else you need.

4. He will always protect you.

Matthew 6:26 ‘Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?’

Put your faith in God and he will protect you.

5. We will have struggles.

John 16:33 ‘I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on Earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.’

We will have many struggles during our life, but God disciplines those he loves. God is more interested in your character than how comfortable your life is on this Earth.

6. We will have Justice.

2 Corinthians 5:10 ‘For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.’

God promises us all justice for what we have done and what others have done to us. After the new heaven and the new Earth will everyone get what they deserve. God is the perfect judge.

7. He has a plan for your life.

Jeremiah 29:11 ‘“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”’

God has a plan and a destiny for every person. It is our decision whether we accept it or not.

If you trust him and believe this, then he promises that his purpose will prevail in your life. You might take many detours off this path, we all do at some point, but his purpose will always prevail.

2 Peter 1:4 ‘And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.’
