Well, I am going to explain the MINDSET that I have used to get MUCH more out of life. It has allowed me to pursue my passions and enjoy life much more.

Without wasting any more time, here is the tip.

Go DEEP in everything you do.

What does this mean? Let me explain.

There are SO many areas of life. But the ONLY way we can do everything we want to do is if we have a DEEP life. This means that WHATEVER YOU DO put your 100% focused, undivided attention on that thing.

Why is this so effective? Because it allows you to get everything done in half the time (at least).

By going DEEP, I have done 10 hours worth of NORMAL revision in 1 hour of DEEP revision. I have done 1 hour worth of REGULAR exercise in 5 minutes of DEEP (intense) exercise. I have written this whole article in less than an hour!

This idea is from the book ‘DEEP WORK’ by Cal Newport. He focuses on how to work deeply and gives many strategies and tips about how to enter a state of DEEP work. So you can do 3, 5, even 7 times more work than usual and reach your most ambitious goals.

When you work deeply, your entire focus is on the thing you’re doing. You do not tolerate distractions. The best time to do this is early in the morning when no one will disturb you. But always make sure you are undistracted. Distractions kill deep work.

Deep work produces content that is unique and hard-to-replicate. These are things that give much more value to the world (and give you more success).

This concept can be applied to any area of life.

For example:

Relationships with others = Focus all your attention on listening to them. Really UNDERSTAND how they are feeling. Encourage them. The more you focus on the other person, the more they will feel loved. Don’t be distracted by your phone, focus on them.

Work = I have been able to triple my work productivity at least. Right now, I’m producing 3 YouTube videos for my YouTube channel and 3 articles every week, while doing a degree in Psychology.

Exercise = About 90% of the benefit of doing press-ups comes in the last few reps when you’re feeling it the most. That is what I call ‘Deep Exercise’. I recommend checking out HIIT training as this is a form of DEEP exercise. This will allow you to get MORE benefit out of exercise in LESS time.

Relationship with God = God doesn’t want us to be lukewarm. He wants us to go for him with a deep, blazing, passion that rivals the stars. Did you know, every day you can go deeper with God. Every day you can know him more than you did yesterday.

EVERY DAY CAN BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. Why?? Because you can be more aware of God’s presence. Because you can go DEEPER. If you don’t believe this, then that is what might be stealing your joy and happiness.
