The Power of Prayer
Do you know the power that you have inside of you right now? It’s a kind of power only a small number of people know about. It is almost a secret because few people choose to unleash it. The power of prayer!
Through prayer, you have access to the supreme ruler of the universe whenever you want! Wherever you want! Even without Wi-Fi!
But I must first say!
Apart from the Bible, the most transformational book I have EVER read is ‘The Pursuit of God’.
I do NOT want you to miss it!
It has allowed me to pursue God with more passion than ever before. View it here, if you know you NEED God MORE!
1. God Answers Prayer
When you are hopeless, pray! Because God answers prayer.
God is not sleeping and passive. He is awake and active now, and always will be.
He is the great I AM! Not the ‘I was’.
When you pray, he will listen to you. Most of the time you won’t feel his presence, but He is there. If you have enough faith, he will answer you. Because when you start praying about something, God starts working on it!
We expect prayer to work quickly, or immediately. Most of the time this doesn’t happen, but prayer has no expiration date. God may answer the prayer in very unexpected ways. You don’t know when, where or how a prayer might be answered.
So, whenever you pray, know this. You will be blessed beyond belief! Because there are only ever 3 answers to prayer: ‘Yes’, ‘Later’ or ‘I have something better in store’.
2. Prayer Is Unstoppable
A humble prayer to God in a time of need can make you unstoppable, impenetrable and untouchable! You can ask him anything, for things so astounding, so outrageous that they seem impossible! But with God all things are possible.
John 15:7 says:
‘If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.’
Picture this. In the Bible, King Ahaziah had sent an army captain and fifty soldiers to kill Elijah. The soldiers found him on top of a Hill and told him to come down to them.
2 Kings 1:12 says:
‘Elijah replied, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and destroy you and your fifty men!” And again the fire of God fell from heaven and killed them all.’
All because one man knew how to pray. Because of prayer, he turned his destiny around, and you can too.

3. Prayer Can Save
Prayer can save people from horrible situations.
Whether your heart is broken, you’re ill or under extreme pressure, God could turn it all around in an instant if you just pray. Prayer can turn a hardened heart into a soul on fire!
In the Bible, Job was in the hardest, darkest time in his life, he had lost his wealth, his family, everything! But still, he prayed, trusted God in his struggles and was given twice what he had before.
Job 42:10 says:
‘When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!’
The reward for trusting God isn’t worth comparing to the situation you’re in. The ability to trust God is priceless.
Matthew 21:22 says:
‘If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.’
