What To Do When God Says NO

What do you do when God cuts you short? When He lets you fail? When you lose someone? You can often blame God and think He doesn’t care about you anymore. So, what do you do when God says no?

1. Don’t Give Up!

Nowhere in the Bible is there any verse telling you to give up!

When you fail, or when something in your life goes badly, you only have to make one choice. Do you let your bad past experiences destroy you, or do you focus on your vision for the future?

The Devil will always try to convince you to give up! ‘WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?’ he will shout! ‘LOOK AT WHAT A TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING YOU ARE!’ ‘YOU CAN’T EVEN DO THAT RIGHT!’

The Devil is a LIAR!

But Deuteronomy 33:25 says:

‘As your days, so shall your strength be.’

That means the greater the trials are on a certain day, the greater God’s strength will be in you.

P.S. I have started a series on my YouTube channel called ‘Testimonies of Titans’ that YOU can take part in HERE

The greater the CRISIS, the greater God’s POWER!

Imagine this situation: You’ve just failed an exam! Unless you are Mr. or Miss. Perfect, this will happen to you.

The exam you failed was not the real test. The real test is trusting GOD, the maker of Heaven and Earth!

Focus on this: God wouldn’t have let you pass the exam if He hadn’t qualified you to deal with the consequences.

This means the consequences of passing the exam may NOT have been good!

By passing the exam, it may lead you on a path God never intended!

So worrying about what you failed at is pointless…

So don’t give up! Don’t stop trying and failing.

When you are about to give up hope. When you have no motivation and you can’t take another ‘NO’.  That is when you’re the closest to your next miracle!

2. Even When It’s NO It’s YES

God’s ‘NO’ will lead you to a greater ‘YES!’

TD Jakes said, ‘If it is not the thing. It will be the thing that leads you to the thing.’

If you think you’ve failed, the failure will lead you to success. Failure is life’s greatest teacher.

Or if you don’t think you’ve found your passion. The thing you’re doing now will lead you to your passion.

The ‘NO’ always lead to the ‘YES’. So it becomes your ‘GOLDEN TICKET’ to success!

There are many times where we want something so badly, we can’t imagine being happy without it. Like an intimate relationship. Or money.

But God only intends you to get the best! He only wants you to have the BEST relationship you can have. So with God, it’s always been ‘YES’!

Don’t treat the ‘NO’ as a failure, treat it as part of the process.

If God rejects something, then (as a fact) God will always give you something better.

Time will always prove God right.

3. Joy Comes in the Morning

Remember that God is faithful.

When He says ‘NO’ He wants to move you into a new dimension. A new phase. Because He wants to grow you!

If you stay where you are, you can’t move forward. LOGIC!

You will always grow when you CANNOT bear something any longer. When you have no hope. When you need something to change.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says:

‘No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.’

Is there something in your life that overwhelms you, that you feel like you CANNOT bear any longer!

A simple prayer is powerful! Pray for that thing to be taken away from you. Whether it’s lust, anxiety or anger. Prayer is BY FAR the single most powerful impactful thing you could ever do!

This is the ‘way out’.

Even though you feel like you’re in the middle of a whirlwind, pray! And know that joy comes in the morning.

Get your joy from God’s promises. That if you trust God to get you through it, He will.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says:

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Paul (the guy who basically wrote the Bible) was, shipwrecked, whipped and thrown in jail many times.

Every time God said ‘NO’ to him, he still trusted in God’s plan and prayed.

He trusted in God’s promises, not in the Devil’s lies.

Physically he was in a prison cell, but spiritually he was free.

Because his joy was in the Lord!

To Conclude:

The greater your battle, the greater God’s power in your life. So never give up!

It has always been YES!

God will give you a ‘NO’ to put you in a situation where you have to trust Him, so you can grow.

Get your joy from the Lord!
